In addressing clients’ legal issues and achieving their business objectives, Ms. Suen approaches every project with the goal of providing comprehensive, straightforward, and practical legal counsel. With a passion for addressing complex legal issues, Ms. Suen brings a client-focused approach to the practice of law.
Ms. Suen has a diverse range of civil and commercial litigation experience, and a strong academic background. As a litigation attorney in Vancouver, BC, Canada, she gained experience representing individuals and businesses in cases that involved insurance law, commercial disputes, personal injury law, and estates litigation. Thereafter, in 2014, she earned a Master of Laws degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa William S. Richardson School of Law.
Born in Hong Kong and raised in Canada, she is one of the few native English speaking Chinese attorneys practicing in Hawaii. Ms. Suen looks forward to utilizing her legal experience, cross-cultural background, and language skills to service the local community.

- Minosky v. Brar, Vancouver Registry No. M103066 (unreported): Conducted a 3-day Supreme Court Trial and successfully dismissed the Plaintiff’s claims against the Defendant.
- Poirier v. Aubrey, Vancouver Registry No. M075072: Acted as co-counsel in a 10-day Supreme Court Trial, lead evidence and cross-examined medical expert witnesses and lay witnesses, researched case law, prepared written submissions and made oral submissions.
- Asgari v. Sew, Vancouver Registry No. S081726 (unreported): Conducted a two-day Supreme Court trial for the Defendant on the issue of quantum of damages and successfully argued against costs awarded for the Plaintiff.
